have parents who were born there and I have relatives and cousins there as of now c: visited once, it was really cool
How comfortable are you with the language?
Ehhhh very bad 😂 I can speak and listen to it but I can't read and write as much.

Hey there, I'm so glad to see your response! What part of Vietnam did you visit? I've heard a lot of Vietnamese Americans can listen but to speak back, so it's really great of you to have both skills! Don't worry about reading and writing, it can be a hot mess to learn from the start!!

ooo yes I agree! I visited family in the south but we also did a tour in Hanoi becuase my cousin tours and it was really awesome! The street food was even better than in the states. we visited my great-grandparents' homes as well so a bit of a history lesson there c: where are you from??
