Trying is enough

...See more Hiyaaa beautiful people ! Hoping everyone is doing well and staying safe 💜 Let's talk about Trying , and the power of trying today. Remember when you tried something for the first time, how did you feel about it ? Was it exciting, nerve wracking , nonchalant , mix of everything at once ? But hey, however the feeling was , you did try it then and perhaps you're engaging in it ever since . Sometimes our best efforts might not be rewarded with the best results or even results we would like to see , but just simply trying and giving our best is quite something too ~ worth a praise and worth reassuring to keep on trying again and worth a pat on your back for even thinking about trying and willing to take a step forward. 💜 What is something you tried recently? How do you feel about it ? ( remember, it is one thing to get what you wanted to by that trial but another to even have the will to try at something, we want to acknowledge our efforts even when the results are not what we want or not quick to show up for us ) 💜 What is something you'd like to try soon ? Why ? ( this could be literally anything , from wanting to learn a new language to starting your own business to engaging in some self care practice etc ) Hello ATW : @1Vanillaicecream @AddictedTealover98 @Adeline12345 @AlwaysRedeemable @Angela243 @azuladragon34 @Bint @BleuPhoenix @Bosslady9601 @bouncyVoice4149 @BrightHeart1996 @bubblyblueberry89 @Char202425 @ClairePotato @confidentangel2369 @CupidtheKingofLove @cuteOrange213 @Daishy @DepressedTransAlex @DreadfulHannah30 @Drishtiizz @dtanushree @fairmindedWisteria3450 @fantasticDancer50 @frostyIris5554 @GeneralIroh @GhostLily @healingWhisper @herealways27 @hopefulArrow2212 @Hypnotize2004 @iwishuwell @jayahere @K87 @Kenn13chan @LovetoGod @lyricalAngel70 @magicalPainting28 @miraculousheart9815 @MoonlightHelper1 @mxmes @navyHouse3677 @NimoSayeda @orangeAster4 @peppapigisqueen08 @phantom25 @Redskyi @Resourcefulsouth @RideaRainbow @scarletSugar3797 @sincere5772 @SoMicha @StillPlanet @stjarnagrace @SunflowerOnTheHill @Sunisshiningandsoareyou @SweetTortoise @sympatheticCup6312 @TessMo @theheartproject @treeHugger7 @uniqueApricot19 @VerseArt @WelcomeToChat @whackamoo @WhiteDolphin27 @YaboiRogers @Zulegirl Welcome aboard : @0Butterflies0 @sociablePenguin1666 @gioexx @greenYard2803 @whitealbum @acm21 @Zevin @cosmicMeson3141 @kohlrabi1 @Shadowhunter273 @Bitchcraft33 @CreativeRebellion @TeaAddict22 @francisbaker22 @comfortingHope3101 @Paula00 @rimibks @Empressenergy99 @LucasFiction @DifferentWoodz
Pride Month Around the World! How does your country celebrate?
by Heather225
Last post
June 13th
...See more Our community is a global melting pot of diversity with people from different ethnicities, identities, religions, and cultures. Every day is a chance to learn something new about each other, and our world. This month we're honoring the LGBTQ+ community. I'd love to know how you celebrate Pride in your country and/or culture! Here's a few questions to get the conversation started: 🌈 If not in June, when is Pride in your part of the world? What do the celebrations look like? (Pictures are welcome!!) 🌈 Are there any personal ways you celebrate Pride? Traditions or special activities?  🌈 Is there a Pride event you want to go to somewhere in the world? (e.g. NYC March, Stonewall Columbus Pride) Share your stories and help us learn more about the global LGBTQ+ experience! And remember, celebrating Pride is not only for LGBTQ+ folks. If you’d like to show your solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community during Pride and year-round, you can and should!

Is therapy scary?

...See more hi. im ht & I just joined the app yesterday. the past month i have been struggling a lot with depression and anxiety. I am on lexapro & have been for over a year now & have never had any issues with it. it’s always worked so good for me & helped me so much. over the last month i have lost my dream job, my car, moved out of my house due to my living situation, been searching for jobs but seems like nowhere is hiring, been looking into college but it seems impossible for me due to financials and have had such an overwhelming amount of stress on my shoulders. I have been bottling all of this up and this past Friday I had a mental breakdown. Uncontrollably crying, multiple panic attacks, etc. Over the weekend I was fine, I felt normal again but then Monday came & everything went downhill again. Yesterday I just cried to my boyfriend & I told him I need help. I’ve never been to a therapist or a counselor because I’m scared for people to know that I struggle. I have never wanted to admit that I need help. But also the thought of having someone who doesn’t know me & I can talk to them about anything and everything I feel without judgement sounds awesome. I’m just nervous because it’s such a big step. I’ve always been told that getting therapy is “weak” & I know in my heart that’s not true but the nervousness & the worry is still there. I don’t personally know anyone who goes to see a therapist/counselor but I figured someone here might. If anyone does & has ANY advice at all please share. I would love to hear others experiences with therapy/ counseling & hopefully I can gain some relief about seeking professional support❤️

Temperature Range

...See more What temperature range do you experience where you live? Post in Celius or at least refer to F if using that. Here, in a given year a range of 66 is almost always reached and in the 17 years I have lived in this location I have experienced a range of 84. So 84. 66 is expected minimum in a year.

Being Poor
by CallumKing2000

...See more I grew up in poverty. When I was a kid I was surrounded by a big big family which was very rare. There was many people at the house we lived at. I was raised by women so things were different but it wasn't until I realised like last year that how poor I grew up. Now I'm not complaining. I was not a very nice child growing up, I was very bad and evil. If I didn't get what I wanted then I would be horrible to my mother and grandmother, Even my great grandmother. It wasn't until I realised last year how easy i had it but that's there poverty comes in. I made my family broke always wanting things like toys and video games and sweets and chocolate etc. I was a really spoilt kid and I made my family broke because of what I wanted now don't get me wrong I was loved very very much by my family but what I'm saying what I feel. I really did not know what being poor was when I was young. Until I did realise how bad we was living. We always had food and drink in the house and the house was very warm and cosy and the electricity was always on we never went out without the essential that mattered but when it came to rent and bills then things were really bad. Like I said I never knew what being broke was so this was all new to me but taking it 20 years for me to realise that was too long. I should have understood more and everything but maybe they didn't want to put that worry on me but as a teenager I knew when we moved out after my mother's mum passed away. I knew how bad we was living. No hot water no hot meals no hot radiators on a cold morning I mean we froze to death and nobody helped us after her mother passed away the family didn't care about us because we had no money to give them. It was horrible. But we managed. We used what we had to keep warm and didn't complain. Yes it was very extremely hard but we survived those cold autumn and winters. They say that how you grow up affects your health and life. I do believe this and I believe that's why in my family we haven't lived long. I was lucky to see 4 generations until I was 10 or 11. But what I want people to know is please don't look at me different I really want to scream it so the world can hear but I just want anyone to know that I am human and I'm a changed man I am very respectful and I do my very best in life because that is all we can do. We can only try. Thanks for reading this. Take care. Cal
