I love this clip, starting at 0:50, of this dance about sindoor... The red powder many women around the world and especially on the Indian subcontinent wear as a symbol of femininity, belonging, power, and love... (Of course, let's not forget the complexities and downsides of politics, gender, and societal norms all therein, but, this video celebrates sindoor for the empowering aspects and relationships it can represent.)
