The first takes place along the citys riverside along the Chao Phraya River, a major waterway nearby. It has been used for centuries for drainage, recreation, and fishing. It has a canal system known as khlong with 1,682 in Bangkok utilized mainly for transportation and flood prevention. This system actually allows for markets on the water known as floating markets along with food vendors. Tuna was taking the public transportation system at the moment to get around, giving himself a break from the long journey.

The second was nearby the Victory Monument, a memorial dedicated to Thailands victory in the Franco-Thai War. However, the area within Bangkok is also known for its street food and local shops from freshly grilled fish to fresh produce. One could also purchase dry fruit from a local vendor or indulge in a fresh orange juice. Additionally, the area is known for its boat noodles, once traditionally served within boats, consist of rice noodles, a meat (blood) based sauce, and a choice of meat. Traditional flavors with the dish include morning glory along with parsley, garlic, bean sprouts, among various spices and herbs, commonly served with pork crackling. Tuna likely went to pick up some bird seeds for his journey.

The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, known as Wat Phra Kaew, is considered one of the hearts of Thai society. It is located within the Grand Palace in Bangkok. It was carved from green jasper, and represents the power and influence of Thailand along with its royal family. In fables, it is believed that the sculpture was carved from a devoted believer of the Buddhas teachings, but was exhausted from sharing his beliefs across the land. The gods Indra and Vishnu came to the man and later went on a journey where they were able to access the purest jade stone that was transformed into the Emerald Buddha. Tuna went to pay his respects to the Thai society, taking in the full experience.

This last clue was meant to give you all an idea of where to begin your hunt (currency), but I did not expect any significant meaning when the clue was first delivered. @Guinan wrote an explanation that I thought was interesting, so I will accredit them with the explanation while providing additional details.

The baht coins he was dropping were likely from the fountain at Democracy Monument as it's always been considered a gesture of good luck to throw a coin into them. It's the burial and cremation ground for many dignitaries in Thailand.

Democracy Monument is a public area commissioned to commemorate the Siamese Revolution which led to the constitutional monarchy system in then-Siam (Thailand). I couldnt find much about a coin dropping tradition, but there are two fountains within the monument underneath the base of two of the four wings, so that could be used for coin dropping. I also found information about the Buddhist Wat Pho, a temple complex in the Phra Nakhon District. Within the temple, there are bowls in which visitors can drop coins in hopes of good fortune.

Wherever he was, Tuna was probably wishing himself luck as he escaped once he noticed all the attention was on him.
