✨🧚♀️ International Fairy Day – What Are the Fairy Stories in Your Country? 🌍🧚♂️
Hi everyone!
Today is International Fairy Day, a magical day to celebrate the wonder, mystery, and enchantment of fairies!
Fairies have been a part of folklore and stories in many cultures across the globe. Fairies can be playful, protective, mischievous, or wise, and their stories vary widely depending on where you are in the world.
🧚 I’d love to hear from you:
What are some fairy stories, legends, or beliefs from your country or culture?
Do they protect, trick, or guide people?
Feel free to share stories, legends, personal experiences, or even art or photos inspired by fairies where you're from!

Here in North Italy where I usually go in the mountains there is a natural spring called Lagole that is believed to be home of water fairies 😊 the spring was also a sacred place for druids, and there is an archeological site with runes-inscribed instruments. They believed those waters to be magical and with healing properties due to the presence of these spirits. I usually go there when I'm in the mountains to do mindfulness and take a bath, since it's actually also a thermal spring 😊

In Ireland we have mythical fairies and leprechauns who are good, and guide us to the treasure and gold, they are full of mischievous fun, light-heartedness, and sprinkle magic and curiousity as they go 💜🥰
@Amanda84 Thank you for sharing! I love how fairies and leprechauns bring a sense of fun and magic. It sounds so joyful and enchanting! Those stories really remind us to find wonder in the little things around us. 🥰
@Mya000 I completely agree 🥰
