How to keep calm
I feel betrayed . My bf cheated on me over a year ago with his ex, he begged for apology saying he won’t do it ever again and that he is sorry . I gave us another chance trying to trust him again . Cut short to today , i found out he has another *** id that i had no idea about and he follows her through that id and she follows him too . And i feel betrayed , i have absolutely no energy left to even confront him now . I have an exam in 5 days which is important to me and i don’t know if i should cater to my emotions right now or what to tell myself to focus .
I kept giving him benefit of doubt whenever i felt something off time and time again . Kept ignoring thinking my mind is just trying to overpower me by making imaginable scenarios but guess hut instinct is never wrong.
You’re not alone in this. it makes perfect sense that your mind is torn between pain and pressure from exams...I get it.
My story is different but kind of similar in emotion. I was in love with someone (athira) who meant the world to me my best friend, my comfort. I thought we had something solid, something rare, but it was all lies or maybe I misunderstood her...her boyfriend said athira and i (deva) love each other since day first and I'm (aaryan) the problem between them... although I asked her multiple times do you love deva tell me I'll move on...but she never confessed.
I had exams too. Anxiety. Panic. Couldn’t focus. Felt like no one really got it. Still I'm deeply disturbed and lonely.
But here’s what I learned,
Let it hurt, but don’t let it destroy you. Let yourself cry, scream, vent but then bring the focus slowly back to your goals. Even if it’s just one small task a day.
Focus on your exam not to please anyone else but because your future deserves your strength more than he ever did.
i know everything is vast... right? Give yourself time talk to friends if you have...and stay hydrated...Ik how it feels that's why I'm here on 7cups although I'm still figuring out dealing with loneliness and depression but....I can be someone's angle and visa versa.
Sending you strength from someone who understands more than you know.
