@BenittaJ yes, to all of those whose actions brought me to the verge of de*th۔
No. If I was in any kind of physical or emotional pain I would not want to inflict that upon anyone, not even on my worst enemy if I had an enemy which I don't. :P
I believe in wanting the best for everyone, there's already enough suffering in the world so I wouldn't want to add anymore to that.
@BenittaJ
If I were to transfer my pain I think I would do that rapists and to bosses or managers who misuse their power and just anyone who uses their privelege or power against others actually because I think if they could feel what I felt about it and how hurtful it is they would stop doing it.
But that could never happen.
It's beyond my control to change others so I will just keep working on myself.
@Dallady I hear you buddy. I understand. Control never felt so tempting before I came across this question here. But I would try to make myself realise that- if I live in hate, I still live in their victim story. If I want to win over them, I have to let go and move on. This might sounds bs to you at the moment. I feel the same sometimes . It's fine. Just being aware about this fact even though we can't believe it helps. I hope it helps you , it certainly helps me
@JustHumanThatsNotPerfect
Did you mean to respond to me? Because that made no sense.
No, I don't want others to go through the same pain I did. I don't want to transfer my pain.
@BenittaJTI my former employer for not paying my husband and I for the full time that we were working for 20 years.
@BenittaJ I would like to transfer it to the monsters who is thought it was cool to torture me as a kid. They are obviously behind bars. They are losing a good part of their lives there indeed. But the pain they inflicted on others , that lives with victims like me everyday even after years. I would wish them to have a taste of it of it atleast once. It wouldn't change anything they did. But they would then really realise what they did, rather than just reading it on court papers
@BenittaJ
No. Transferring your pain mat take it away from you, but it would only overfill what may already be on the person's plate. We don't know what challenges/struggle people face on the daily, so why make life harder for them to cope with?
There's a saying from a video game I play, and it goes like this:
"People are remembered for the challenges they overcome. You can run away and forget what you're capable of, or face your fears and remind the world of who you are."
Transferring your pain (hypothetically, if it were possible) is really just another form of escapism, running away from your problems and leaving other people to deal with them.
Fight your fears and survive.
Yes. To the guy who cheated on me, manipulated me and lied to me
@BenittaJ I wish I could give my pain to the people when they hurt me. Not to inflict pain on them to help them see why I don't talk to them or why seeing them in the halls and not crying is an incredible feat. So although I really don't want anyone to feel as *** as I do I wish people understood my pain. Physically, no (technically). I wouldn't give them my pain because most of it is just like when I kick the corner of something. Technically tho because sometimes emotional and physical blur together and in that case, same as above.
