If you are sent to a deserted island for a year, what are the three things you would take?
If you are sent to a deserted island for a year and you are told that you may take just three things with you apart from the essentials. What would you take and why?

If you ask me, I would take a pen, a guitar (I love playing that) and a diary to write notes.. (In case the pen needs refill, I might just carry some :P )

A book (probably Lolita by Nabokov), my guitar and a knife (to build stuff) :)
