When traveling, you may come across many challenges, from getting lost to not knowing what you are ordering in the restaurant due to a foreign language. Language barriers may be challenging at first, but you can learn to navigate around them. Tell us about your experience and how did you cope with the situation. You can use the prompts below.

  1. What have been your biggest communication challenges during international travels?
  2. What did you do?

As for me, the best way to learn a language is to communicate with a native speaker. During the coronavirus period, it became more difficult to do this. But for those who study, for example, Russian, like me. There is an opportunity to go or fly to Russia. To do this, you only need to apply for a visa. Personally, I did it at the Russian visa center, where I was told in detail everything I needed and about the work of the Russian visa center itself. After that, I didn't have any obstacles for traveling in Russia.

I agree with you! I think being able to communicate with a native speaker can speed up the learning process a lot. For how long have you been in Russia and how was it for you there? I think it is also important not to be scared of making mistakes as they are inevitable and then we might miss an opportunity to learn and get better at it.
