I have several tag lines I believe could be used in this message to people. I'm going to leave my one liners out of this and leave everyone with this thought instead:
"There is an epidemic hitting our world. Balance has been distorted. People have lost touch with each other and have begun to isolate themselves beyond a healthy point. This is resulting in a major mental health epidemic. I believe we need to educate the next generation on the importance of relationships and treating everyone as if they were you. Addiction (and in some cases 'unhealthy obsession') is hitting people in all walks of life: Food, Sex, Alcohol, Substance, Emotion... and it is being exploited by industries. Don't let 'being human' become a thing of the past. Stay grounded. Be you. Be a part of something."
Were all struggling in some way, lifes not easy. But finding support is the most important gift we can give to ourselves!! @Tazzie
Well, I would say never give up and continue to fight to find a better way to be able to deal with your mental illness. There is help for everyone just dont give in, to I cannot get any better.
@Tazzie
walls you make are not going to save you
"We are like a box of chocolates", each one different in their own mental ways, but we are all deliciuous inside...we exist and we live with our mental challanges but we each have wonderful souls inside...
@DonneMoi
Beautiful anaolgy, and so true!
Talking about mental health is tough and one conversation may not answer all of your questions. However, it is a start and encourage them to talk to their peers about mental health by either sharing a fact, asking how they can be supportive to friends and why they value talking about mental health.
