If you could share a message with a large group of people regarding mental health, what would you say?

no matter what, you are not alone, you and your feelings are completely valid, and you are enough and worth it.

I have several tag lines I believe could be used in this message to people. I'm going to leave my one liners out of this and leave everyone with this thought instead:

"There is an epidemic hitting our world. Balance has been distorted. People have lost touch with each other and have begun to isolate themselves beyond a healthy point. This is resulting in a major mental health epidemic. I believe we need to educate the next generation on the importance of relationships and treating everyone as if they were you. Addiction (and in some cases 'unhealthy obsession') is hitting people in all walks of life: Food, Sex, Alcohol, Substance, Emotion... and it is being exploited by industries. Don't let 'being human' become a thing of the past. Stay grounded. Be you. Be a part of something."

That is such an impactful message. It's more helpful to get past the barriers and ask for help. It may not be easy but it's possible. Thank you for sharing.

That theres no shame in admitting to needing help or saying that your mental health is challenging.

I struggle with mental health too. Weâre all figuring it out, and thereâs no shame in that. ðLoading Penguin Hugs | Instagram | Patreon

Perfect! Mental illness or any illness for that matter, does not define an individual's worth.

Talking about mental health is tough and one conversation may not answer all of your questions. However, it is a start and encourage them to talk to their peers about mental health by either sharing a fact, asking how they can be supportive to friends and why they value talking about mental health.

@KimsonTheSteveFundYPOC

Taking small steps can be a pathway to becoming more open about mental health. We can all learn to become more self-aware at every step we take. Thank you!
