I feel numb

Is it normal if I feel like I don't have feelings anymore?

I don't feel excited about anything and I don't even have any hobby beside chess which I play very rarely. I'm studying 6 hours a day after school and I don't really know what happened to me. Is it just me or is this common?

@Ketuu

It is common but six hours is alot after a full day of school.

It's important to take breaks and rediscover what you like and start having some fun and some balance too 💜💕

@Ketuu I don't know if it's normal or not but I kind of feel the same way so it isn't just you 😭

It could be anhedonia? Theres a good video on YouTube about it by shych2go (think that’s the spelling)

I haven’t been good mentally lately, been sad a lot. My class is going to be starting soon, how are you able to study like that when you feel that way😪 feel like my sadness isn’t gonna allow me to focus or do well. I’m scared and it’s a hard class smh

Life as a guy can be lonely in Nigeria, but I'm hoping to change that! I'm @friendlyhuman on ***, looking for new friends to share laughs, adventures, and maybe even something more. DM me and let's break the monotony

Please remember to take breaks, drink water, stretch. 6 hours straight is a lot. Take care of YOURSELF!

@Ketuusometimes, when you are overwhelmed with your emotions, frustrations and problems, it can feel like that... i have faced it before... dont worry...it is not permanent. it will go away once your brain feels safe enough to feel again
