School attacks - what can we do?
It is extremely sad to see students venting their anger and aggression in such a negative and harmful manner. I am sure if these negative thoughts were plugged upstream, these attackers would have turned out to be simple and honest citizens. With at least one school attack every month in the United States, it is time to think about ways to curb them. My prayers are with the victims of the Merced attack today.
What do you think we as a society can do to control these anger and aggression issues among school and college students?
Making the 7cups site available to students can help. I know that many school shootings could have been avoided had there been someone available to listen and care for these kids. Also, bullying is a huge issue. After becoming an adult teen listener, I have found that even though the US as a whole has been trying to crack down on bullying, it is still running far too rampant and that has got to stop. So on that aspect, I would say educating and raising awareness can also be quite beneficial :)
