Good time zones, everyone!
Today is known as International Artist Day!
This day was founded in 2004 by a Canadian Artist named Chris MacClure, and honors artists for their culture. It also helps create a way for artists to be honored by their challenging perspectives and ways to provide beauty to the world.
On top of sharing the message that there is more to art than the museum or gallery wall that the painting or piece of art is residing in. Serving as a reminder that art comes from love, compassion, and the heart, because art is activism as well.
