Cricut and scrapbooking
Anyone use a Cricut for crafting? I do but having a creative block at the moment so am doing a book journal and scrapbooking. Does anyone find these things relaxing?
I write a lot in my journal. It’s very helpful to get those thoughts out of your head and on paper!

Yes art journaling is amazing and I find it meditative for me. It puts me in the zone and takes me out of my head. I do alot of painting too and that's very meditative also. I think art has such a healing quality to it.
I use watercolor pencils if that's something you'd like to try.
Sometimes I wander around my home cleaning out closets or drawers and I stumble over some stored keepsakes, cards or pictures and use them for inspiration.
Hope this helps.

@kindTurtle7870 I recently bought one of these as I found that my scissor lines weren't that straight 😳 After a few practice runs I got the hang of it and now use it all the time. I find it wonderful for cutting canvas and thick art papers, also origami blocks lol!
I am starting a scrapbook and using a cricut for the photo edges too.
Creative blocks are something that I find the best way to get through is to go roundabout and overcome, so if there is a big fat boulder blocking your way go around, or go over it, or sometimes dig deep and go under it. The main thing is to remember you can do this- you just have to start, one step at a time :)

Scrapbooking has gotten ne thru grieving my grandmother passing away. I use scrapbooks as a therapy session when my therapist is not available. It's cheaper lol jk
@energeticTree8512 Yes! It is cheaper and can really be a helpful part of life, do your scrapbooks have a topic?

@kindTurtle7870 I totally get the creative block! I’ve found journaling and scrapbooking super relaxing, especially when you’re not stressing about perfection. Sometimes just messing around with colors and patterns helps get the ideas flowing again. Hope you get your groove back soon!
