Cross stitches
I did a few small cross stitches when I was younger and started it up again a couple years ago.
They are an amazing way of focusing my mind on something other than the negative thoughts and the spaghetti jumble in my head.
I can immerse myself in them for hours at a time and it relaxes me so much.
I've done some small ones and some larger. My current one is 300,000 stitches (to put it in perspective it is the size in the bedroom door) and been working on it for about 7 weeks. I estimate another 6 or 7 months work on it but it will be amazing.

I love cross-stiching. I started when i was only a child. I recently found a website that transfers pictures to cross-stiching patterns with DMC threads. I'm really excited to start doing my pattern.

In a way. You upload a picture and then choose width of the pattern, how many colours and color selection, thread. Then the website creates a pattern which you can download. I am using pixel-stitch.net and I like it, but there are other websites that do the same. As i don't any of the advanced options, it is free for me.

Cool thanks I'll have a look into that as it would be nice to get ones of my dogs that are no longer with us
