A very warm hello to you all!

I hope and wish you are doing very well.

"procrastinate"
"to keep delaying something that must be done, often because it is unpleasant or boring."
(Cambridge Dictionary)

This week's check-in questions are:

  • How have you been feeling these days?
  • Do you often delay indefinitely things you must do?

  • What kinds of things do you postpone the most?

  • What could you do to defeat procrastination and get things done?
  • How might this improve your life?

All questions are optional. You can add any comments you wish, as they come to your mind.

I look forward to your answers!

Hey guys. I’m writing this in a lot of pain. I took off from last Wednesday to have my eye procedure (everything is fine now) but while recovering, I was hit with flu. Started showing sysmptoms on Tuesday. Fever was hitting 102.4F (39.1C) and I am in agony. Coughing until my body hurts. I haven’t fallen asleep in two days. I finally got some Tamiflu, but it’ll take some time.

Another fear is that the doctor said I’m not allowed to go back to work until Sunday (even though I was supposed to go back on Friday) after taking one week off from the procedure I’m worried I’ll lose my job.

im just trying to get by the best I can.

Thanks so much for sharing. That does sound like a really rough point. Sometimes the regular medical stuff adds up and it can be completely overwhelming.

It is also true, though, that Tamiflu can get you back on your feet quickly. Hopefully 24 hours from now things will start looking better.

We will be thinking about you. @Server8462

In the Land of Procrastinators, I am King...

  • How have you been feeling these days?

I have been in fairly poor health (both mentally & physically) for a few years.

  • Do you often delay indefinitely things you must do?

Depends. Paying bills, no. Doing this for my self or house, absolutely.

  • What kinds of things do you postpone the most?

I suffer from paralysis by analysis. I do so much thinking and research on certain things that often fail to act on them.

  • What could you do to defeat procrastination and get things done?

I really don’t know.

  • How might this improve your life?

I would be less weighing on me.

Sometimes those can seem really overwhelming. What one would you like to start first? @UberRuminator

@bestVase7265

To be honest, I don’t really care about any of them.

Then why do them? Is there a certain amount of guilt involved? @UberRuminator
