Hello all. I hope you are all doing well. Remember to do something nice for yourself today. No matter how small it is.

1.) How are you?

2.) Is your current routine bringing you closer to your goal?

3.) What cheesy joke makes you laugh everytime?

Feeling awful today. I'm feeling so under pressure at the moment. I feel inside. I'm taking an anxiety med called sertaline. It's a relatively light dose at 50mg per day. I recently mistepped at work. I work retail in a supermarket and was having anxiety attack all day. I went to a manager who reminded me that I had been on sertaline at one point. My anxiety gets so bad it affects my short term memory. I live on my own with virtually no contact with anyone outside of my work. I'm hoping 7 cups can help me get thru this awful period of my life. I'm 53 yrs old. I've coasted all my life because I didn't think I was worthy of anything. My parents, my dad in particular, made my life pure hell. Now folk at work and outside of work are doing the same. I have hobbies but they're in lockdown at the moment. I've signed up with various health charities too. But no joy as yet. Please bare with me. And please try and help me keep my job. I'm scared that if things don't improve soon I'll lose my only job that I think I'm qualified for.

@gregariousVillage5097 I'm sorry you're dealing with this. Retail is a hard job to have, especially around Christmas. They aren't very careful with people's health, or mental problems.

Are there hobbies you could do by yourself, so you're doing something fun during lockdown? I like knitting. But maybe you could draw, or find something else that keeps you entertained while you're alone.

Be nice to yourself. I hope you feel better soon.

@BlueBetta I know what you mean. I've had this for years. And had very little guidance. It's really swamping me right now. I'm about to go to work and I know no matter how hard I try they'll never be satisfied with my effort. It's really tough. But thanks for getting in touch.

We will definitely bear with you. You deserve the support, especially after a bad day, week or month. What kinds of things do you do to calm down after a panic attack? @gregariousVillage5097

1.) How are you?

I'm doing okay right now. I made the mistake of getting on twitter earlier and got angry at all the politics. I'm feeling a bit better now though. It's just really hard to not feel like everything's hopeless.

2.) Is your current routine bringing you closer to your goal?

I don't know. I'm not really sure what goals I should be working on. It's hard for me to pick.

3.) What cheesy joke makes you laugh everytime?

It's usually funny to me when a bad guy's holding a hero or the hero's friend somewhere high up. The hero says something like "let me go" or "release them". The bad guy goes "Okay" and just lets them fall while the hero gets annoyed that they weren't more specific.

@BlueBetta

I like to pick one "focus" per month if I'm having trouble picking a goal to focus on!

The month long timeframe is short enough to keep me dedicated and interested, and long enough to show some results. Just make sure you don't work on other goals during the month of focus!
