Bad morning
I have had these friends for years and can consider them family. They have many animals. But there is one cat named Lucky who would always be with me when I'm there. If you couldn't find him, they would just find me and he would be fast asleep either on me or next to me. He would head butt me every chance because he loved seeing me. He would follow me everywhere. Well, he is 14 and sick. I got calls and texts this morning around 5am to find out he passed. I should have went to the house yesterday and sat with him. I hate getting these calls and texts. I miss my kitty. He was a good cat. I'm so not in a holiday mood more now. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Awh. Lucky sounded like an incredible cat to have around. Pets can be very comforting. I’m sorry to hear about his passing. It’s never easy to lose a fur friend. Sending you hugs.💜
Oh he was, even sick, he perked his head right up when I called him and we had to watch him because he couldn't jump. All he wanted was to be next to me. I was doing homework and we put him next to me and he just falls asleep for a long time. He was always near me. Hate losing people and pets. Thank you.
It is never fun to lose any pet over the holidays. Give yourself some time to grieve. Hold and cuddle other things more. Sending lots of peace. @Caitlyn1993

A little, gonna go to friends and hold some of the cats. His sister is sad. So hopefully she will come to me like she normally does.

It did. One of his sisters (the cat) stayed on me for almost 2 hours and a couple came over to be petted. It won't be the same for a while.
No, it won't be the same, but over time it can grow in to something new, different, and special. The loss will still be there, but you will grow around it. May your healing continue.
