Seasonal depression
Has anyone else experienced seasonal depression or SAD? What are your symptoms? When do they typically show up or when do you start noticing them more? What has helped you cope with it? Have you tried those light boxes or special lamps and if so, do you think they have helped?

Hello there! I hope you're doing good.
Seasonal Depression is a real thing. Changes in weather do have an effect on our mood. I'm sorry you feel that way. Please feel free to share how different season affects you.
Thanks, take care!

Hello there! I'm new here! I don't have any advice that I can give you but I do want to share that in colder months, I noticed I am less motivated in life and school. I live in a climate that has all four seasons and winter is the worse for me. I dislike winter months as I find no joy in walking in the freezing cold (walking is one of my favorite things to do to decrease my anxiety and depression.) I don't work out nor am I a winter sports fan either... I notice that January and February are the hardest months for me. I have a strong sense of self-awareness, but I have trouble learning how to cope. I also don't know what to mentally expect this coming winter..especially with COVID going on, I'm scared I'll get sick. I just hope that I continue to stick with supportive people around me.
How do seasons affect you and how do you cope with it?
Thank you!
