Stuck in a vicious cycle and cant break free
I know i have suffered with depression for quite sometime now. Its always been there and i cant remember a time without it.
I have just recently move in with my fiance and i should be happy and thrilled we are planning our wedding, but the thing is, im not. I dont feel anything exept numb. I feel isolated and alone, torn away from my friends and family to another area. They work the majority of the day and I am struggling to get any form of job. I am alone most days and more or less all day.
The more i sit alone i can feel the wall that is depression crushing me and dragging me to the depths of the ocean, what scares me is i dont mind that it is. Like i have already accepted im done. I talk to my friends but everytime they ask me if im okay all i can reply with is im fine, because i feel its getting annoying for them hearing im depressed all the time...
im just at my wits end.... help....

I can really Empathize with what you are going through. I have been through something similar. Two years after marrying my Husband we moved 225 miles away from where I had always lived. We knew noone here, and I just left all my friend I ever knew and my family to move up here. So I understand your feelings.
It took a long time, years, but I finally made a place here. I made friends and started a life for myself. I still talk to and occasionally see my family and my best friend from where I used to live. I suspect it was just an adjustment that I had to get used to. I remember reading somewhere that moving can be a big change and for me it was. Hopefully you find your place and become happy in your new home, as well.
