What do you hate about yourself?
Depression is bizarre in how in alters the way we think. We may know logically that it is our depression making us think this way but knowing that doesn't invalidate it. So write down what exactly you hate about yourself, let it all out. Once you do look back at what you wrote. Hopefully documenting your thought process will make it easier to work through your issues. Plus we will all be here to help.

I hate my body. I hate the scars from years of self mutilation. I hate my ability to always screw everything up. I hate my lack of motivation to do anything. I hate my lack of passion for things I once loved,
I hate myself
I dislike the lack of self-confidence when others tell their feelings and thoughts about me. I wonder way too much about if it is true and doubt about my feelings and thoughts about it and I end up with mixed feelings.
I hate myself for being stuck in this trauma after four years of therapy, hate i cant move past this.
How much I beat myself up ,how I want to do every fucking thing but nothing at all. How my brain is filled with so much illogical fucking nonsense that I constantly try to combat but most of the time subcome to . This pain. My thoughts. My will power. My hopelessness. My speech . My awkwardness. That I pick . That i brought a beautiful child into this world and shes wiping my pathetic sorry tears.
My lack of motivation, my inconsistency
Feeling inferior to others sometimes, but I'm working on it :)
My tendency for vicious, ruthless self-criticism.
I hate most that I can tell that these thoughts aren't true, yet I still let them control me and harm myself and those too close to me.
