What do you hate about yourself?
Depression is bizarre in how in alters the way we think. We may know logically that it is our depression making us think this way but knowing that doesn't invalidate it. So write down what exactly you hate about yourself, let it all out. Once you do look back at what you wrote. Hopefully documenting your thought process will make it easier to work through your issues. Plus we will all be here to help.
I hate that I overthink everything and let myself get dragged into conflicts and even participate in fueling them, even though I know I'll feel bad and never meant it that way. I hate that this is one of the reasons so many people turn their backs on me after some amount of time.
i hate everything about myself. i hate my body, it's morbid, not the weight i want for myself. everything is wrong with it when i see it, there's nothing to be liked. i hate my face, it's pimply and scarred from prior acne, wrinkles between my eyebrows that make me feel ten years older than i actually am. seeing it brings me anxiety and distress. i hate my personality, there's nothing really interesting and i'm more often toxic to other people on accident than i mean to because i'm conistently struggling and unable to get a grip on myself. i'm also a failure, i can't do anything right, every day is a reminder of that. i'll never be able to get where i want because i'm too stupid and yeah. that's a lot. sorry.
I hate that I'm sensitive and I can't find a compatible bfriend my age
Everything, which is too much to write. Every little feature I have has a big flaw to it. I can't find anything I like about myself, I hate it all. Sometimes my soul wants to leave my own body, just on its own, leave this disgusting pod you'd call a human. A hideous stranger stares back at me in the mirror, I'd like to break it sometime.
Everything
It's nice to know I'm not the only one who hates being an introvert and pushing people away, but I yeah, I hate that I'm an introvert. I try to change, being an 'introvert in denial', but I read that you can't change from being an introvert to...anything else. It's a trait you're born with. So I'm doomed for life because where I come from, no one knows what introverts are. It's hard to socialise, to be accepted for who you are, and to join in on the big family fun because everyone else is an extrovert! I'll be the outcast and when they see me sulking, they feel bad, so they invite me over -- only for me to be the awkward child (naturally) and spoil their fun with my introvert self.
And yeah, I hate myself for pushing people away. I hate myself for not having friends. I want friends, yes I do; but then I don't. I push away the ones I have and then sulk because I feel alone. I haven't had any friends for almost a whole decade now. I try to find common ground to start friendship upon, but I can't seem to find one with anyone around me. Hence, my loneliness. It's bad enough I have family problems, so I have no one to turn to.
I do have one new online friend, we met a few months ago when I "saved" him (that's what he said) during an argument with his old acquaintance. It was all a misunderstanding and he hadn't the words to say. We became online pen pals afterwards. What I hate is that whenever I want to write to him, I end up ranting or whining about my life. I try to write of happy things or neutral things, but my life is just filled with annoying things and weird unluckiness.
I also made friends with a new colleague a few month ago. This is my attempt at friendship but I hate it that I always end up being able to befriend the ones who are not of my 'ranking' or clique. even back in high school, I relate easier to mums and teachers than the kids at school.
And I hate myself for always Backspacing after writing out a lot of stuff to post. I decided not to do so this time.
My body
Hello, it's very bad that at 30 you have such problems. You must first go to the doctor, then maybe buy some drugs. And if nothing is already helping, try to have sex with another girl.
@vondes What medications do you have? I tried to find information about them, but found only names such as Viagra, Cialis. There is a good pharmacy network where you can buy cheap tablets https://canadaphrm.com/category/cheap-pills/ can I buy drugs to increase potency here? Can I have other problems if I take these pills? How is this all connected? Can there be an allergy to these drugs?
My ocd, what it's reduced me too, how it isolates me and limits my life and often causes severe depression. I hate my illness .
