What do you hate about yourself?

Depression is bizarre in how in alters the way we think. We may know logically that it is our depression making us think this way but knowing that doesn't invalidate it. So write down what exactly you hate about yourself, let it all out. Once you do look back at what you wrote. Hopefully documenting your thought process will make it easier to work through your issues. Plus we will all be here to help.

I hate that I can't express my feelings, and I hate what I'm doing to myself with all my thoughts. And I hate that I think I might be a horrible person.

Probably how I became so not trusting of myself or I'm not feeling self-confident.
I doubt myself a lot and in various situations, when I get triggered I tend to close up which makes it hard to communicate with others.

As of lately, something I definitely hate has to do with my mental health. I hate my temper and how exasperated I get so easily to such common stimuli such as my parents, or broken ice pops. It makes me have aggressive and harmful thoughts about things around me and myself. Instead of being present, my mind wanders into fantasising ideas of horrible things. Problem is, I value other things and other people more than myself. Which means that I am the only factor I can control without being more of a burden to others.

I hate my inability to act normal. I hate how anxious I am. I hate my job. I hate the way I walk. I hate how clumsy I am. I hate how angry I am. I hate how I feel useless. I hate how invisable I am. I hate that no one bothers to notice that I'm like this. I hate how everyone who bullied me and called me a witch got away with it. I hate the people who make me feel like garbage. I hate that I believe them. I hate that I keep being told I need to lose more weight. I hate that no matter what I sit at the same weight for months. I hate my hair. I hate that once I cut it short no one bothered to pretend to notice me anymore. I hate that teachers say "anyone other than Abby". I hate being deemed useless/unworth enough that I'm "the other Abby" even when I'm the only Abby in the room. I hate that I can't just act normal. I hate that the only thing people identify me with is a gimic lunch box. I hate that no matter how much harder I work nothing I do is good enough. I hate that I'm never good enough. I hate everything about myself. I hate my stomach. I hate my feet. I hate my nose. I hate that everyone just is nice enough for only as long as they need me for. I hate that no one bothers to think of me. I hate being such a blabbermouth that people just ignore me. I hate that if I don't speak no one notices. I hate that everyone just thinks I'm not there. No matter what. I can stand infront of people or be in the room the whole time and its like I'm invisable because I say something, anything, and they freak out. I hate being the witchy freak girl with a weird lunchbox.

Where to start with this. My looks, specifically my nose, my ears not being symmetrical, which makes wearing glasses even worse since the don't sit level on my face. I hate seeing myself in a mirror. My skinny legs, of which I've been told numerous times not to show in public. My recorded voice is horrible. My internal self monlogue which constantly tells me I'm not good enough. My allergies, my headaches. Guess that's enough for now.

I hate having depression and deep insecurities. Even on my good days, I don't feel like I can be completely happy.

I'm an extremely deep thinker and the thinking does not do me any good when I am alone or not focused on a task.
