What do you hate about yourself?
Depression is bizarre in how in alters the way we think. We may know logically that it is our depression making us think this way but knowing that doesn't invalidate it. So write down what exactly you hate about yourself, let it all out. Once you do look back at what you wrote. Hopefully documenting your thought process will make it easier to work through your issues. Plus we will all be here to help.
I hate everything about me.
I hate i feel hopeless about my treatment and my future, i know by the past things get better but i am only seeing the hopelessness the depression wants me to see and i truly hate that about myself
The things I hate about...I do feel hate is a strong word...so the things I strongly dislike about myself...
- I have no courage to take risks or do anything in life
- My appearance/body
- Being afraid
- The way I feel (my anxiety and depression) but I'm trying to accept it and not let it control me
There are for sure more things but that's all I can put into words.
My gender, my body, my personality.
@kayku I hate my body, my acne and how bad I am at being alone
4 words: My messed up brain.
I hate that everything i touch turns to rubbles...i hate thinking why do other people deserve some things but not me and much worst i even hated myself for getting things that noboby have. I hate that im havinh such a difficult time adjusting and it seem that i cant follow any conversation im in.. i hate that everything my boss says makes me want to quit. I hate that my only constant companion is my loneliness and my emptiness and most of the time i just wish that somebody care enough to stop me..
I hate feeling fragile, too. Made of cotton wool and jelly! I don't know why but I've never been able to cope with this world. Everything about this world frightens me and I stay home, hiding in my room like a child. I don't know why I'm like this.
I also hate my face. That's dreadful to say, but the truth. I hate my teeth, skin, and even my hair. I even hate my body for not putting weight on, which has caused me all manner of grief, and for the illness that I suffer with daily.
Right now I hate that both my mental and physical state are a wreck.
I hope this passes soon as I have bills to pay and responsibilities to myself and my husband. We are looking to buy a home. The last thing I need is to lose my job...
Any part of a human that exists on the surface mainly. Like my eyes and my mouth. My scars and my molds. My legs and my arms. My stomach and my face. The lungs that help this body breath the air that is wasted on me and prevents me from meeting death. My heart that wont stop beating no matter what. My consciousness that whispers and shouts terrifying nothings until they engulf me...just everything...
