What do you hate about yourself?
Depression is bizarre in how in alters the way we think. We may know logically that it is our depression making us think this way but knowing that doesn't invalidate it. So write down what exactly you hate about yourself, let it all out. Once you do look back at what you wrote. Hopefully documenting your thought process will make it easier to work through your issues. Plus we will all be here to help.
I hate that I'm losing everyone around me and feeling like I'm the cause.

Depression is hard. There's no denying that, and you're right about how it alters our mindset on ourselves! I began to hate my body. The small things that nobody notices. I hate how pessimistic I tend to be. I hate how I let people walk over me. I hate that I'm so shy. I'ee missed out on so many great opportunities because of my shyness. I hate how I look. I hate my hair. I hate my personality.
But even with all these things, I do my best to remain positive. I've come to accept my body. I ignore the little things and try to remind myself that it's okay to have a chubby tummy, because there's organs in there that need protection. I've learned how to deal with how pessimistic I am, and whenever I begin to have pessimistic thoughts, I replace them with happy thoughts or do something to distract myself. I've come to accept the way I look, and I cherrish the days that I feel pretty. I've overcome the majority of my shyness, because I've learned from my mistakes. I know I can't go back and regain those lost opportunities, but I tell myself that new doors will open and this time I will not shy away. I've come to accept myself, and making these changes are a lot easier said than done but they have drastically changed my life. I am a much happier person now.
I hate that I took so long to admit to myself what I really am, and instead learned it now at the worst possible time in my and my family's lives.
The fact that I don't want my depression to end
@BunnyBop
Agreed.
@BunnyBop me too.
@BunnyBop why??
My modivation is gone and so is my energy, along with my will to live and all my sanity. . .

Of course, I forgot to mention how unwilling I am to get better. My depression has been my safe place these past two years, and it makes me angry that I'm so quick to reject my medication.
No, I don't want to get better. . .
Depression is like a drug. You get addicted to how terrible it makes you feel and you can't stop. It hurts, but there's that part of you that deeply wants to feel like that forever.
I've been on medication for 6 months now and I'm just starting to get better. I still really want to be depressed. A while ago, I realized that in order to change, you first must have the desire to do so. And that's where I lack. . .
I don't know what to do now. If anything, the medication has made me even more confused because my head is clear enough to finally think about what I truely want for myself.

I'm kind of in the same boat. Wherein I want to change, and I'm tried of feeling awful, but feeling awful is all I've known for so long at this point. There's the fear if I start feeling better about anything, it's just going to come crashing right back down on my head and leave me in an even worse disposition. Granted, it still hasn't happened, but it doesn't stop my anxiety either. I'm not sure what to do about it besides what I'm already doing.
My social anxiety. My tendency to get too attached. My weight. My voice. My inability to flirt. My isolation. My teeth. My toes. My "people pleaser" mentality. My laziness. My lack of motivation. My lack of self control. My misreading of emotions. My dependency. My inner confliction. Myself.
@Munchkin4065 Me too. It's about the same for me, honestly.
Everything
I hate my scars from self harm. They tell a truth I'm not ready to tell
Everything. My hair. My face. My body. My personality. The fact that I'm sad all the time when I really have no reason to be. My inability to connect with people. I couldn't tell you a single thing I like about myself.
@unassumingKite4699
I think that you could if you try hard enough. Maybe ask one of your friends for something that they like about you. It may not be the same as you liking yourself, but it may help.
