"Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise." – Victor Hugo 🌅

Hello everyone,

September is Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month. First, I want to sincerely apologize for this late post. This month carries such an important message, and it’s one worth sharing no matter the date. This is a time dedicated to breaking the silence, challenging stigma, and reminding each other that our presence here matters.

Even as we move further into the month, the focus remains the same: the immense courage it takes to face another day, the power of connection to heal, and the unwavering hope that recovery is possible.

You Are the Heart of This Community 💛

Whether you are here seeking support or offering a listening ear, you are a vital part of this safe space. Your presence matters. Your story matters.

A Key Message: It's Okay to Not Be Okay

Reaching out for help is a sign of incredible strength, not weakness. Sharing your feelings, whether with a listener, a loved one, or a professional, is a brave and crucial step.

Let's Share and Support Each Other 💛

To help us connect and share hope, feel free to respond to any of these prompts:

A Small Comfort: What is one small thing that has brought you a moment of peace or comfort recently? (A song, a warm drink, a pet, a show?)

A Message to Your Past Self: What kind words would you offer to yourself from a year ago, or from a darker time?

Why You Keep Going: What is one reason, big or small, that helps you through a difficult moment?

Let’s use this thread as a place of kindness, a digital campfire where we can share our light with one another.

You are valued. You are understood here. You are never alone.

With warmth and hope,

Angelanj

@Tinywhisper11 ***, girl...don't do that again. So many people would miss you, Lo'...you have quite a few friends in Cups. I've seen how they talk to you here. If you cancel your life subscription, you will set off a tidal wave of grief & anguish all through Cups-Land!...probably in real life, too. The people in the care home are used to you being around by now, surely. Better days will come, but you will not experience them if you remove yourself from the census. Keep going!

@Angelanj May this month be a month of love and patience from you, to you. We're all only people trying our best every day. I am so proud of everyone who had a bad day and woke up tomorrow and decided that the good day is coming, and that waiting for it is worth it.
