Am I anybody's number 1?
So my bestie of 4 YEARS would choose a guy she met online, never met, doesn't know what he looks like over me.
And many others would choose another person over me. My bestie of t years is the one I used to tell EVERYTHING! But now i fear she might judge.
After all the times I've been there for her, she would pick him, not me.
And i am rly sad. I love and love and love, but why do I not get any love back.

Yes, you are someone's #1 yourself. chose yourself over others is not selfish but self-protection.
giving of ourselves is not always equal in what we get in return ... never has been doubt it ever will be. people often chose a new friend or boys over bestie. that is not a reflection on you but them.
You are an amazing caring and loving person, never feel ashamed about caring for other people, it's not your fault that they can't see your value, maybe your friend is just wounded and looking for romantic love in her life , maybe you would say I would never choose someone else over my best friend , but your friend is not you , she may not react in the same way. You are a good person, but you should never prioritize others over yourself, our first priority should always be ourselves and ou kids if we have any because we are the reason they exist in this world.
