@RoxieFae18

I understand. when you feel running on empty it is good to reach out and have others help. It is also good to speak up to any person close to you.

We expect our close people to know or see when we are empty then are disappointed when they do not.  I learned late that speaking up could have saved amny times when this caused issues in my life.

@RoxieFae18 I read a little about how in life we need multiple people in our safety nets.

I can imagine, the above statement might trigger internal resistance for someone who feels drained as you do. At least I used to feel some kind of resistance towards it.

The idea was tough to start at least adding low stakes repetitive structure when you are among people. (I have group gym class I go to now almost every week, colleagues at work,…). Just people who you do not commit to save but you might happen to enjoy at some moments.

You are worth being valued even when you are not saving someone or being useful to them. Sure not everyone will respect that but some people might… Could it be worth testing gently?
