Breakup
Hellooo!! First time in this app so idk what im doing but i wanna share my story
My ex-bf broke up with me last November. I didn't want to let go yet and tried fighting for him but he keeps rejecting me. There were two factors in our breakup:
1.) I constantly overthink to the point that my thoughts were unrealistic. I did everything to stop doing so but it kind of kept getting worse. He got tired of it and considered it as toxic.
2.) We were caught kissing inside our school (they dont allow pda) and it was considered as a very serious offense to them. We both haven't came out yet to our parents at the time so we were both scared.
As of now, we were forced to talk to one of our parents about the situation to lessen the severity of the consequences. We see each other two times per week because we have the same club and organization at school. Everytime I see him, a wave of guilt and heartbreak hits me since I still have feelings for him and wasn't expecting for our relationship to end like that.
What hurts more is that not even a month after the breakup, he already has a suitor and he entertains him online. I felt like *** when I first heard it because it's like he moved on that quickly when I'm still trying to process the breakup for almost 2 months.
As of now, I find it hard to take care of myself and lost motivation to commit to my academics. I still stupidly try to chat him online and get turned down almost everytime. I don't know how I can heal properly from it and it just makes me feel numb.

breakups are never easy i feel...not even the "mutually decided" ones so feeling hurt and stuck in a loop about your heart break is natural and it's ok to feel as you do 💕
if oki to ask...what did you overthink about? what lead to those thoughts? in relationships I feel the partners should hold some accountability at least to not let the other one feel so much bothered...labeling it as toxic seems kinda harsh to me tbh
yeah people who aren't as emotionally invested seem to move on fast ... it definitely isn't a nice feeling seeing someone we like be with another person :(
me is here for you friend 💕💕
I used to overthink abt where he was, who he was talking to etc. Sometimes I overthink if I'm still interesting to him, if he still loves me. I really wanted my thoughts to stop, but they just come back stronger. I never wanted him to tire himself out from me overthinking but he said it was really too much for him.
update: two days ago, I had the closure i needed after a month after our breakup. He said I wasn't there for him when I needed him the most but I know I really did everything I can to reassure him.
But now that I'm thinking about it, I'm starting to overthink again. Maybe I did lack something from our relationship. Maybe I really wasn't there when he needed someone to talk to. But even so, I tried my best being his partner despite my own problems.
