There was a time when I constantly felt anxious and disconnected from everything around me. Depression made even simple things like getting out of bed or talking to people feel like a huge effort. What helped me start healing was admitting that I wasn’t okay and reaching out for support instead of bottling everything up. Talking to someone I trusted and later volunteering in mental health spaces reminded me that I wasn’t alone. I also began taking small steps like journaling, praying, exercising, and setting daily goals to rebuild my sense of control. Over time, I learned that depression and anxiety don’t go away overnight, but they can be managed with patience and self-kindness. YOU ARE NEVER ALONE, please don’t face it in silence. Healing doesn’t happen all at once, but each day you choose to keep going is already a victory.
