I feel like most of the time I am daydreaming about different realities and with that I am like a mammal of the skies reaching different temples am I alone?

Are these dream related to real life unaccomplished goals, or regrets? I have severe daydreams so often, like anything could trigger it and no clue how to overcome the distractions
