Dealing with depression and helping people
Hi I write this because I am not felling well about the last 5-6 years of my life. I have dealing with depresion and anxiety. It is too difficult sometimes last week I have a very bad days and I only want of cry all day. And even dealing with that I try to give my 100% percent to help people every day but sometimes I feel like I don’t want to continue anymore. Because really I feel like people don’t care if I am happy or if I am sad. But also this makes me more sensible and connected more with other persons. I don’t know where I am going right now but I know I will give my 100% every day even if I don’t want to continue anymore.
@Juan07
You have more strength than I did in that you're committed to giving your all despite the struggle. I just crumbled. Your story makes me cry.
I ignored my very reasonable best friend, looking for ways to spend endless time in bed. Looking for ways to avoid anything new, to shut my brain off from learning, from experiencing. And this led to an inability to cry, which was its own kind of trauma.
Reflection is what led me out of it in the end. I'm never going to make the claim that it's possible for everyone, or that it's an easy, quick process. But what else is one to do? You are already reflecting out of desperation, and I think that's wise.
Don't stop here friend! What's on your mind? No pressure, you don't have to respond.
Listening to music is a good way to identify feelings. Art in general is good for exploring emotion. Anything that sparks something in you to keep that flame alive.
I'm proud of you for reaching out. I hope others can weigh in on this, I feel my words are woefully insufficient.
@Juan07 Hi Juan, I feel what you are experiencing and it sounds awful and I know such a burden it is. But, I wish to ask you, why caring about other people ?
What do you like to do? Who Is Juan? If you feel to talk, I'll be glad to listen your story of life.
Goodbye my friend.
