Depression
I feel like I’ve become completely careless about my life.
I’m a third-year pharmacy student in Italy, but lately everything has turned depressing. I can’t focus on anything anymore—especially not on my lessons.
I have so many exams, and I’m not prepared for any of them. I also can’t sleep properly at night. I do manage to sleep sometimes, but only by taking pills, and even then I barely rest.
Everything feels unreal, like I’m living in a dream. My days feel foggy, and I don’t see things the way I used to. I’ve started smoking much more than before—more than a pack a day.
I feel deeply depressed. I know no one can truly save me. I keep feeling like I’m dreaming and that I could wake up at any moment. I spend most of my time sleeping and doing nothing. I really want to wake up because I’m exhausted.
I hate seeing myself like this, but at the same time, I feel helpless and I don’t know how to make myself feel better.
