Depression and antidepressants

I've been taking antidepressants since I was a teenager, and I just can't get used to the fact that even with the pills, you can still have bad days without immediately relapsing.

Does anyone else feel the same way? Despite the pills, do you still have this fear of a depressive relapse just because one day is just "***" ?
