It's really hard to deal with this kind of thing. Especially because of the type of relationship it was.
There are so many moments when I wonder if I did the right thing but then I remember the way it made me feel.
I think the hardest part is how absolutely lonely I feel...

You are not alone... when we decide to divorce or move on we ae at first alone and we wonder or stress if a bad person present is better than being alone. Many people do not go thru divorce stay in bad things just because we fear being alone even if it may be a short time.
