Do I even want help?
I'm convinced that if I lose a concerning amount of weight, all my lies about "I'm fine" wouldn't work. There would be no reason to believe me and someone would actually try to step in.But then I realize how pathetic that is that I need to do that to myself instead of just going up to someone and asking for help. But then I think about the help I've already received and ask myself "when is it enough?"
When am I enough for me?
@Smile4mepls
You are not pathetic.
You are struggling.
You just want to be happy in your own skin.
There's nothing wrong with that.
Keep asking for help until you feel it in your core.
You deserve to be happy and safe 💜💕
@Smile4mepls you do want, need, and deserve help from yourself and others. Not just when things get “bad enough” on the outside for others to notice, but now, simply because you’re a human being going through something hard.
You don’t have to earn care by hurting yourself or by reaching some invisible “threshold” of suffering. The help you’ve already received doesn’t mean you’ve used up your chance, it means you’re human and healing takes time, often more than we think it “should” 🩵
