Welcome! I'm new too. How do you post a thread? I couldn't find a button anywhere for it.

For the website:
You need to go to the community you want to post in, for example https://www.7cups.com/forum/depression/
You will see the community name at the top, join community (or leave if you have joined already) and underneath that a textbox looking rectangle that says Create New Thread.
Click in there and it brings the popup to make the title and post and topic. Fill it out and click Add Thread near the bottom.
