I feel alone
I'm on vacation for Christmas, so for now I'm not going to university, but I hate vacations. When I'm home, my parents fight; there's never any peace. It's not violent, but they yell at each other, and I'm fed up with them not being able to be happy. There's no money, nothing. If I weren't on vacation and had to go to university, I'd be busy and wouldn't be home, so I'd only see them at night.

It sounds like being at home feels lonely and emotionally exhausting for you. Living in an environment where there’s constant tension or arguments can be very draining, even if it isn’t violent. Anyone in that situation would feel worn down.
It also makes sense that university feels like a safer or calmer space for you — having routine and being away from that tension can bring some relief. Being surrounded by conflict, along with financial stress, can make the holidays feel especially heavy.
You don’t have to carry this alone. If you want to talk more about how this has been affecting you, I’m here to listen.
