It's funny and sad and somehow powerful
Soo Recently, I was leafing through my old notes and found one interesting note that I wrote as a teenager when I got depressed and was prescribed pills.
I hope maybe it could help somebody, here's the note:
Now I'm taking pills that a psychiatrist prescribed for me and I sincerely hate the fact that I literally became a psychopath for my parents, every time I get angry or I don't like something, they don't ask how I feel or what's wrong with me, they want to know if I took my pills.
Yes, I take my pillls, but that doesn't mean I don't have the right to express my emotions and feelings or behave "badly" in their opinion.
Guys, remember, pills don't make you crazy, you're still the same wonderful people, but there's a lot of pain and suffering inside, and pills help you cope with the burden you're carrying, you have the right to feel bad even taking pills, because that's what makes us human, nothing can just take away your feelings, you just have to Just accept them, live with them, and send
*** anyone who thinks you're a psychopath.

I've been in a situation where I felt I could not express myself. I had to somehow be perfect. Not balanced and experiencing a healthy range of emotions, but wholeheartedly compliant. Yet, also somehow living my life. It was paradoxical. How could I ever have been their perfect while living my life?
They would constantly question whether I had taken my pills. Pushed me to "improve" without ever making concessions themselves. And it broke me in the end, I'm lucky to be here.
I just wanted to be heard. To not always be the one in the wrong, because it made me feel less than nothing! Why could I radically accept them while they could not give me an inch?
Things are a lot better now :) having feelings doesn't necessarily make you a psychopath. Those feelings come from somewhere and should be addressed with heart. You shouldn't try to medicate away the human condition.
