I've been going to the gym for almost 3 months
I have my days where I do so well that I leave the gym feeling really good. There are still some days when I leave the gym still feeling the sadness I arrived with. Although, it's amazing that I've been able to stick with getting ready because I have my days where I can hardly brush my hair or shower, or even talk.
I still have yet to talk about my grief and how it's been impacting me. This community has been great so far. One day at a time.

I am happy this place helps you ❤ one day at a time always ❤ you are doing so well just by trying to do whatever you can ❤ grief is hard to process and talk about, but it may feel lighter talking to someone or even just letting out those thoughts and feelings , I hope you can do try at it too ,when you feel ready ❤

Congratulations!
Establishing a healthy habit like that is not easy. Many try but few people achieve it.
You have a lot of strength, grit and determination.
You must be very proud of yourself.
Regarding grief, grieving is a process that takes time. Allow yourself to experience it, even if it feels painful at times. Don't rush it. Be patient with yourself. Trust the process.
If you feel comfortable with that, talking in real life and here will definitely help. Share your feelings and memories. Express your emotions.
You are a great captain of your ship.
With time, you will arrive at a peaceful harbor.
You will be able to recall sad memories and appreciate all that was good at that time, without those memories being so painful and you suffering so much.
I wish you all the best in your healing path.

As a regular gym goer myself, the fluctuation of attitude of going to the gym and leaving feeling either "that was a great workout" or "that was pretty bad" is all too relatable. It's inherent and no one can have perfect gym sessions all the time! However the power comes in consistency which I see you have been keeping! You'll have so much future fulfillment and you might not notice it day to day, but you'll see a gradual improvement to your life! We'll be here for you when you share!
