Has anyone got by advice regarding my thoughts and how to nullify them or take control? I was driving today and I appeared to get angry and upset with myself basing off my recent actions that I have caused and I was extremely emotional overloading all emotions at once.

I fear that one day these intrusive thoughts take over what's going on upstairs and I lose the battle and in a sense 'give up' but, I also fear the consequences it faces with friends and family around me.

I NEED HELP

@sensitiveShip936 hello Ship, it's great that you've felt able to reach out to us on the forums. It's very understandable that you're concerned as to the consequences for yourself and loved ones, as intrusive thoughts can feel very overwhelming and persistent, but being able to recognise negative thought patterns and acknowledge them for what they are goes a long way towards their management. You're always welcome here for support Ship; in terms of practical guidance on nullifying thoughts, as you've requested, I've linked below to the 7cups guide to managing emotions.
