Lack of emotions

Hello all, I'm new here and never tried online chat therapy before so I'll just type and see what happens.

My issue is a lack of feeling emotions. I'm always in a state of mild frustration at how my life is going, it seems a lot of the time like I'm a passenger and have no control over anything that happens to me. My wife is at the absolute opposite end of the emotional spectrum, she feels happy, sad, lonely, excited ...sometimes all in the same afternoon. But my inability to share emotions or anything personal with her is wearing her down and our marriage is in trouble if we can't find a solution. So that's why I'm here. Anyone out there who feels (or doesn't "feel") the same way? I haven't a clue how to fix this and if I don't I'm losing the best person I know. We're together 10 years and how she hasn't quit already is beyond me. I love her but I don't know how to show it, or feel it like she does.

Anyway that's my story (or the important bit). Thanks in advance for any help or guidance.

@CL93504

i can understand as i like your wife can have wide range and spouse is just emotionless like living with a puppet. It does wear on a marriage and frankly i would have been happier if he faked it occasionally instead of asking for forgiveness since he is not showing any emotion.
