Made it to the gym

Made it to the gym today for the first time in awhile. Coming out of a very abusive and toxic relationship. Learned that I'm extremely codependent.

I believe I've developed some sort of eating disorder. I can barely eat anything and have very low energy.

Any tips or support welcome.

Cheers

Going to the gym is a good step! If you're struggling with eating, I'd recommend sticking to low-intensity exercise to avoid pain and fatigue. Finding nutritious and calorie dense foods that you enjoy is really integral in getting back to eating more regularly, but that may take a while. If that seems unachievable, adding ensures into my diet really helped me when I was struggling with the same issues. Baby steps!

@BottomsUP90 Hey, I’m really glad you shared this. Going to the gym today is a great step forward! Healing takes time, and it’s okay to take small steps. Be kind to yourself, and remember, you’re not alone in this. Keep going at your own pace.

Thank you for sharing your story, going to the gym can be beneficial in positive ways. Taking small steps out of your type of situation and having a good support system can be very positive and beneficial to improving the difficulties you are experiencing.

You're already on the right track 💪

I've been going through needing to focus on myself first as well, it's hard for sure, but will be worth it in the long run.
