Medication vent

I got medicine today... Bupropion, prozasin, and propanol.... So far I've been doing very well with propanol it has helped me go to sleep in peace and I'm honestly scared of getting back on bupropion when I was a teenager this was the medication that saved me once but it made me gain so much weight, it would make me feel too hyper, filled with so much energy that wasn't mine... As a mother I do need motivation but maybe I don't need the medicine like that.... I am depressed and tired but I would say it is natural the sleeping issue isn't on the other hand, I didnt know propanol would help me and so far this week it has.

Hey there. I can understand feeling worried about what side effects might look like with your medication especially since you know how you were on it in the past. I do hope that your medications help and you are able to find energy. Definitely keep a list of your feelings, thoughts, and any side effects you might be experiencing as the weeks go by so when you go to see your doctor again you have a well noted history.

It’s important to watch yourself. You might need sleep the most. Depression might be triggered by sleep deprivation. It might be also possible to try different dose. I currently take 1/4 of a smallest dose of my medicine and it seems to be right for me. Of course you will need to work this through with your doctor. Still, there is agency in watching yourself and sharing the observations with the doctor ☺️

I agree I got everything but the most useful one has been propanonol it has helped me sleep and helps me so much I feel energy in me and happiness:) like I should. Thank you I have a month before I catch up with my doctor and I as well cut my pill in half since I seem to need a smaller dosage

@LovingOwl33 You do sound stable enough to watch yourself responsibly. It seems to make sense to me to introduce one medicine at a time for mental issues when there are no life-threatening conditions. Like which baby food 🙂.

Still, be very careful with changing your doses without the doctor knowing. I would discourage you stronger if your state indicated that your depression was dangerous for your safety.
