Mom yelled at me

My mom yelled at me saying I don’t do anything and that I rely on her most of the time as she does the work. I’m going through my depression that I’ve been dreading doing even the most daily chores and my sister and her family are coming over. I should be excited but I just feel depressed and I’ve been feeling it for months. I do ruminate on work and how I manage to get there. It also doesn’t help that the GM would just leave suddenly after work and then I have to be the one to fend for myself. But I wonder if I should move out and live on my own I know I’m 35 and I barely had a chance to. But I can’t live like this this constant criticizing and with my depression that makes it hard to take a breather. But then I wouldn’t know where to move to. I mean I mean to at least be close to where I work. But I hate feeling ungrateful when I have others making me ungrateful even more. Just a rant.

@jadedhue

I'm sorry your day wasn't good.

Sometimes our families are our biggest tests 🩷

I wouldn't rush into making any decisions, a bad day passes 🩷

Jung talks about individuation where we find out who we are underneath. Dreams can guide us.

Do you discuss things with your sister or do you know how she views your mother?

Having a social life bye trying different activities. At one point you had dreams other than escape. Exploring some of those dreams might give you direction and impetus enabling your freedom.

Depression allows us to see reality, but it sounds like you have passed from depression into numbness and are clinging on to the insight from depression. Is it a case of breaking one big task into sensible sub tasks.

I know people route for you to live.
