Morning depression
Anyone here has experienced morning depression? I have that. Every morning I wake up feeling nothing positive. I feel very low on confidence. Then I start the process of thinking of the positives that have happened to me but it's really tough. Nothing really comes to my mind. I only recall the times I was hurt. I seek solutions in the values of acceptance, tolerance and forgiveness for the ones who have caused me pain. And even having done so, doesn't make me feel better about myself. I want to have more success. For that I must be patient, I tell myself. But how do I feel better?? Then I push myself to read or distract myself with some housework. Slowly some positive memories come to me. Everyday is a struggle of this manner. If I were to sum my life in a word it would be hard work. I have to do so much hard work for every thing. Nothing comes easy.
Can anyone relate or share insights on this? Thanks for reading and love to you all.

Yes, I have experienced morning depression where I wake up feeling negative and low on confidence and struggle to think of positive memories or accomplishments, but I try to find solutions through acceptance, tolerance, and forgiveness and engage in activities that make me feel good to help improve my mood.

I have bouts of morning slumps but I learned that it was most likely attributed to my poor sleep hygiene and me waking up with insufficient sleep. Perhaps maybe something about the grogginess of sleep can put us down in the morning? But I totally understand that, on occasions in mornings I'll feel so unmotivated and be the harshest on myself. It takes a shower and some self-care to get myself up and motivated to get some stuff done.
