New here
I’m having a rough few days. I’ve been told “it gets better” for a long time but it’s not better and it probably never will. I’m feeling so hopeless lately.
Hiya @goodPear2393 welcome to the community. It is understandable to feel like you're losing hope, when things don't seem to improve and "better" still seems far-off.
I feel though, that people's "better" differs, for A one day is not being able to go to work or complete an assignment that's due and another is going to work and finally submitting that assignment. For B, one day is not having the will to get up from their bed, and another, when they do, anddd brushing their hair or taking a bath, or better-better, both.
So you get to decide what "better" is for you and how it feels to you. We can always try and set small goals, take the tiny most steps and that counts too. Even thinking about better and wanting to feel better, counts, I feel. Hope is a fleeting thing at times, wanting to hold onto it, is on many many days, a "better" thing too.💛
I hope you find the support and compassion your'e seeking here.
