My fiancé is deployed for a year and gets back in couple months his mental health has gone down hill. And I mention a break for couple days because all we did was fight but he thought of it as a big break and a break up and I broke his heart but I didn’t mean to hurt him. Now he keeps saying he needs space to work on him self. I’m scared to lose him he’s my bestfriend for about 2 years. I’m struggling I can’t even keep it together at work. Just have constant anxiety and I can’t do anything about it beside wait. Went to calling and talking all the time to nothing. I feel so empty like I have no one to cry to or talk to. Idk what to do im lost.

@webbles

                 It is hard to work on and fix anything if you do not communicate with each other.  This is one of reasons I find taking a "break" often leads to more issues.  When fighting more often or same fight over and over we may need to learn different skills in communication.   So many of us need to learn to communicate  better and even fight more effectively.

Can you write all your feelings down like a letter?   You do not have to send if you do not want to but it gets your thoughts and feelings out you can re-read in a couple days or week and refine your thoughts etc. It is a good exercise in maybe sorting out and viewing our feelings in a different way.    i have had many aah-ha moments re reading my mini vents when i am in middle of something and can see how person could see things differently.  when we relive in our mind it is like photo shop we gloss over flaws and unclear spots.  looking at it is writing is different.
