Running on E again
Lately I've been getting those intrusive thoughts again. Things are so expensive, I feel like I'm doing nothing but working at my job, then coming home to work even more. Doing side hustles, home repairs, chores, pet care, ect. It feels like I just never get the chance to rest or just be myself and do the things that bring me joy. And in the back of my head I keep getting that little nagging voice saying I'm just here to make the lives of those around me easier, and that I don't deserve that same easy life. No one helps me with my work....in fact I pick up everyone else's shifts and job duties. No one helps me with my home repairs....not even the 3 people I live with. No one helps me with the chores, if I want a clean house I have to do it all myself. I keep feeling like I never have anyone in my corner but as though even with no support of my own I have to constantly come to everyone else's aid. And it's starting to feel like the well is running dry again.
How can I talk to those around me about this without coming off as a big baby. I know I'm physically capable of doing all these things and I've done them for years, but im tired all the time and just want a little time to enjoy myself. How do I talk about this without upsetting people who are lazy and don't care?
You are most definitely not a baby in needing some more support because you are running on empty. What would happen if you started saying no to some things? Don't let guilt make the decision for you. Set aside some time for you every day and make that time non-negotiable. @itspieflavor
How have you been doing? @itspieflavor

It really sounds like you’re carrying way too much on your own, and it’s just draining you, physically and emotionally. You’re doing everything for everyone and barely getting a chance to breathe, let alone enjoy your life. No wonder those intrusive thoughts are creeping in again.
Feeling exhausted and wanting support doesn’t make you weak, it makes you human. You’ve been strong for so long, but no one can pour from an empty cup.
Thank you for sharing such a powerful post. I can feel how much you are carrying and how deeply this is affecting you.
