Selfworth

I feel so worthless and am struggling to love myself. I am not attractive and also not that intelligent. There's a part of me that knows that EVERYONE on this planet is worth something and deserves love, no matter how they look and regardless of how intelligent they are. We are all different and unique in our own ways. But I still feel like there's no hope for me. Does anyone have any advice or tips on how to improve my mindset? Is there anything that helps you fight off your negative thoughts?

You are not worthless.

You matter.

It's hard to not compare ourselves, but it takes , one day at a time.

Reminding ourselves of our worth each day

It's about consistency.

What if I told you that it is not the beauty or intelligence that gives people happiness?

What if you asked yourself what differentiates people who you think are really happy from others? And I mean really happy (not the shallow distraction from what's underneath).

I am not an expert but my current take is that the happiness is in ability to connect... with yourself and with others. Now being self-conscious about our appearance or intelligence might block this ability in us. It is possible to overcome that. Then maybe you can still take care of yourself and others. Maybe you can still contribute to someone else feeling a little better on a though day. Maybe you can be a beautiful person inside without being the pretties or smartest?
